Our original Pyrite has seen massive success as a versatile EDC with an accessible cost ratiot and a snappy button-lock. Some have even called it the best budget knife to date. And while we don’t want to mess with perfection, we’ve decided to change up the formula a little bit.

The Pyrite Alt’s blade is constructed from our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel that perfectly blends edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This is the ideal option for an every day carry knife that will stay strong through all of your adventures.

The Pyrite Alt’s modified Wharncliffe style blade is designed to maximize cutting power while minimizing overall edge length, meaning that even short cuts bite deep and separate materials with ease, making the 3.10” blade of this knife effectively do the work of much larger knives. The fine tip is ideal for piercing cuts and tipwork, and the slight curvature of the blade allows better slicing capability for general tasks. Additionally, the shape of the blade allows for very easy sharpening and maintenance.
