Step 1 - Rinse filter vigorously

Rinse your new Brita bottle filter vigorously under a strong stream of water for 15 seconds. Direct the water through all sides of the filter including the inside, so it washes out any carbon particles that may have become loose.

Step 2 - Insert the filter into straw

Firmly insert the filter into the straw until the filter’s white tip is flush with the top of the straw.

Step 3 - Reattach straw into lid

Reattach the straw by connecting it to the lid and twisting it to the right to lock.

Step 4 - Fill bottle & Enjoy!

Now just fill the bottle with tap water to the max fill line and screw on the lid to enjoy great-tasting, filtered water anywhere.
