No. Charger 2 auto-monitors the car battery and stops drawing power in 3-6s when the engine is off.

Battery detection sensitivity varies by vehicle. Check during first use to ensure it stops charging. If not, turn it off via the BLUETTI app.

Will Charger 2 damage my car battery or shorten its lifespan?

No. Charger 2 monitors the car battery's voltage and adjusts its output accordingly. If the battery drops below 12.0V/26.0V, undervoltage protection is triggered and charging stops. With proper maintenance, your car battery will perform as expected.

Which vehicles are compatible with Charger 2? Can it be used with hybrid or electric vehicles?

Charger 2 works with vehicles that have a 12V or 24V starter battery, including RVs, vans, and trucks.

It also supports hybrids with an alternator and starter battery, but not EVs due to their unique charging systems.

Is the D+ signal cable included? And how should it be connected?

The D+ signal enables faster, more accurate alternator detection for reliable charging. The cables should be user supplied, using a 2-pin connector (5.08 mm pitch, 24 AWG).
