The Knot is comprised of one continuous line interweaving around itself, meaning no beginning or end, or eternal spiritual life. This symbol was originally Celtic, but with increased contact and assimilation between the vikings and the people of Scotland and Ireland, the Celtic symbols became culturally synchronized.

The axe head is Hand Forged from tempered steel, giving the strength to cut through materials. The axe handle is made from single piece hardwood, making it durable and resistant. Windlass craftsman make sure the axe is well balanced for comfortable use.
