The Truix's tanto blade is made of S35VN Steel. This premium steel is one of the most well-rounded steels available, receiving high marks in all categories. S35VN offers high edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, and has fair ease of sharpening. This steel provides reliability making the Truix the perfect everyday carry.

The Truix uses a pivot lock style for an easy opening. Schrade's Ultra Glide bearings system makes this folding style incredibly smooth. The blade also offers a thumb stud as an alternative opening method. The pivot lock and thumb stud are made with premium steel to give this EDC knife a sophisticated and versatile look and feel.
