The Boost MPPT technology allows a lower-voltage solar panel to charge higher-voltage lithium batteries 36 V, 48 V, or 52 V nominal. The GVB-8-WP is already programmed for your Lithium battery, no configuration is necessary and the controller will automatically adapt to your panel.

IP68 is more than waterproof! The advanced electronics inside the controller are encased in a proprietary potting compound making them ideal for ebikes and vehicle applications. Ride under any weather condition!

No fans, no aluminum bars, no energy wasted. Each watt available from the solar panel is delivered to the battery instead of turning into heat. It means more efficiency from a smaller controller.

The GVB-8-WP Boost is capable of charging the battery starting with 5 V input (panel voltage)! This feature allows the charge controller to operate in any condition, from bad sun angles to partial shade.

The GVB-8-WP Boost comes programmed with a specific CC/CV charge profile based on the lithium chemistries (LiFePO4, LiPo, LiCoO₂, etc.) and battery configurations (10S-12S-13S-14S-16S). No configuration is necessary.
