Product Feature
Choose the right axe for the job
Splitting axes for splitting logs and firewood, a universal axe for felling and chopping, or a hatchet for kindling or hiking.
Test the weight
The correctly weighted axe will lift effortlessly with one hand. An axe that is too heavy will be challenging to control, so test out a variety of weights to ensure comfort and command.
Measure the length
Test the shaft length by gripping the axe handle just below the blade and holding it out straight across your arm. The shaft should match the length of your arm as in the picture.
Keep clean
Always wipe-off dirt and moisture from the blade
Store properly
When storing the axes outdoors, always ensure that the storage is covered. Do not store your axe in excessively hot or dry places.
Protect the blade
Coat the blade with a thin layer of oi while storing the axe.
