Yes, once the zippers are sealed shut, the Fogland Backpack can be submerged underwater for extended time (30+ minutes, IP68 waterproof) while keeping all contents in the front pocket and large main compartment completely dry.

Will it float?

Yes! In fact, the Fogland 25L will float with over 40 lbs (18kg) of weight inside. Note: as a disclaimer, we recommend maxxing out your backpack at less than 10% of your bodyweight to prevent injury.

Do I have to worry about rust?

No. We intentionally use 100% non-corrosive materials and components ? from UTX Duraflex buckles to polymer and stainless zippers and pullers.

How big is the laptop sleeve?

The Fogland 25L's laptop sleeve measures 10.75" W x 14.5" H (27cm x 37cm) and fits laptops measuring 16" (or greater). It also features a "false bottom" that is 2" (5cm) from the bottom to protect your device from impact with the ground.
