A transfer switch is expensive, space demanding and inconvenient to use. It needs splice wire and re-wire limited essential circuits to transfer switch permanently. This kit providing building code compliant unmatched flexibility during outages

The twist-locking connecting feature ensuring your home’s electrical system is safeguarded during generator use. Heavy duty conductor and components ensure secure and efficient power transfer. The power inlet box comes with gasket sealed cap for excellent elements proof. Power indicator is on the box lid.

The interlock set is compatible with Square D 150 - 225 Amp load centers, offering a reliable alternative to expensive transfer switches. Unlike transfer switch, this interlock kit allows user easily and flexibly selecting essential circuits to energize by switching breakers.

There is a 2-pole 30A Homeline HOM Breaker included in this kit. If you see QO series breakers, GE or Siemens breakers in your panel, this kit does not fit your panel. Besides the included breaker, other parts in this kit fit Square D QO 150-225 Amp load centers. In that case, you will need to purchase 2-pole 50Amp QO breaker.

Rated for 30 amps, this kit is perfect for generators with a running wattage up to 7500watts and a peak wattage up to 8500 watts. Please check your generator panel for outlet compatibility.
