No.But maybe have it shipped to where you are going it's not to heavy but for a suit case it will be also it has oil in it so idk if it's allowed shipping it to where you are going is what I would do.

Can you ship this generator to California?

I don't know I am not from California. You would have to call PowerSmart to see if there units pass California emission standards.
